Company Policies

Late Arrival

At Daija's Curl Bar there is a 15 minute grace period. If you are running late for your appointment please text us ahead of time and let us know. If you arrive after 15 minutes you may have to forfeit your appointment and will be charged the full service amount (100%). Should this happen more than once you will be prohibited from scheduling future services.

Drying 

We have a strict drying policy. We will not allow a client to leave wet from a scheduled appointment unless you have specifically booked the Wash N’ Go service. Please make sure you schedule enough time for your full appointment. 

Pricing Policy

Appointment prices are as stated on the website. The only instance of price change will be on improper preparation for your appointment. For instance, if hair is not properly detangled it will result in an additional fee of $10 per every ten minutes of detangling that exceeds 20 minutes.

Covid Policy

If you or someone in your household have been sick with anything in the last 7 days prior to your scheduled appointment, kindly let us know so we can reschedule you. For cancellations for covid we require proof of a positive covid test. Anyone that cancels due to covid will not be charge for their appointment. 

No Call/ No Show

If you “no call no show” to an appointment you will be charged the full service amount ( 100%) and be required to pre-pay for your next appointment.

Confirmation Text

You will receive a confirmation text that will require you to reply. If you do not confirm, your appointment will be cancelled. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid a late arrival, a missed/cancellled appointment, and/or a cancellation fee.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds on services of any kind! We will gladly discuss with you what you are dissatisfied with and help to resolve the dissatisfaction. We do not offer refunds on products, we will gladly exchange your product for another. 

Prepare Your Hair

If you are receiving any kind of cut from the salon your hair must be down, detangled, completely dry and in a styled wash and go. This allows us to see your natural curl pattern and helps us take into account each curl's shrink factor when completing the dry cut.

  • Please do not come with your hair in a bun/ponytail, braids, etc. Avoid putting it up after you style it for your appointment.

  • If hair is not properly prepped and styled it could affect your appointment and a fee may be applied.  

  • If hair is not properly detangled it will result in an additional fee. The detangling fee will be $10 per every ten minutes. (The average detangling process should be no more than 20 minutes).​

Additional Guest

We do not allow additional guest or animals in the salon due to the intimate salon atmosphere we ask kindly that you do not bring any additional guests to your service. This includes but is not limited to significant others, children and friends. This does not apply to a child who has an appointment and is accompanied by a parent or guardian. (If you require a service animal please let us know ahead of time and we can set up accommodations).

Appointment

We do not take walk-ins. All services must be booked via the website. When booking a credit card must be placed on file to secure/finalize all appointments. We require a 24 hours' notice to cancel any appointments. If a 24 hours' notice is not given for a cancellation or reschedule Daija's Curl Bar reserves the right to and will charge the credit card on file for 100% of the scheduled service. All appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Phone

Being a small salon, we do not have a receptionist, in order to make sure our guest get the best and most relaxing experience we do not answer calls while guest are in our chair. The best way to book or reschedule an appointment is via our booking portal under the "Book Now" tab. If you'd like to speak with someone directly the best way to contact us is via text or email. Feel free to to call and leave us a voicemail and someone will get back to you in 24-48 hours.

Calls without a voicemail or text will not be returned.

Hair History

It is imperative that each and every client be upfront and honest about their hair history. Any damage to the hair because of information that was withheld by the client is neither the responsibility of the stylist nor Daija's Curl Bar.

Cancelations/ Service Changes

We understand that life happens and we can’t always predict the future. Therefore, we respectfully require 24 business hours’ notice for any service(s) changes or cancellations. Any cancellations after the 24 hour period will be charge 100% of the cost of the canceled service. Should this happen more than once, it will prohibit you from scheduling future appointments at Daija's Curl Bar.

DAIJA'S CURL BAR LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.
